Hi ForeverBookers.  Sorry I've been gone for so long...but I'm back with my review for "City Of Heavenly Fire"! I didn't love this book quite as much as the other ones but it's still up there as one of my favourite series'! COHF is the finale to The Mortal Instruments series. It's split into two parts, which I think might hamper the enjoyment of some as it's a 700+ page book. The other books to this series have had 3 or 4 parts to them so that's why I say this. We also see a couple characters from The Infernal Devices (the trilogy set before The Mortal Instruments) come into COHF. I'd say it's best to read The Infernal Devices at least BEFORE you read COHF as the ending of The Infernal Devices kind of gets spoiled if you don't. The main plot of the book is simple. The characters want to kill Sebastian, Valentine's son. We also see Emma Carstairs and some of the Los Angeles Institute, the main protagonists for "Lady Midnight...

Hi ForeverBookers, It's me again, with my review for City Of Lost Souls...I loved this book! It had everything I look for in a good book - great characters, an engaging plot, comedy moments and cute romantic elements from every couple.  It had elements of loss and pain involved as well. Spoilers Below... The story is continued on from City Of Fallen Angels. Jace is still missing. This makes Clary desperate to find him as she knows he's with her evil brother. Clary, Isabelle and Alec go to see the Seelie Queen, who gives Clary two rings. One of these rings, she gives to Simon on her return. This means they can contact each other no matter where they are, as long as they're both wearing a ring.  Clary makes the decision to go after Jace through a portal she creates for herself. Of course Simon tries to stop her but Clary is determined to do something to help save her lost love. Simon is also the only one who knows of her plan. She finds Jace and Sebastian together.
