Hey ForeverBookers,  Last night I finished “Beautiful Illusion” by Christie Nelson and I enjoyed it! I’ve been busy over the past couple of weeks so it’s taken me longer to read this than I would have liked. Therefore, this review will be quite brief.   3 Stars! I requested “Beautiful Illusion” through NetGalley so thanks to them for allowing me to read it! There’s talk of drugs as well as an unhealthy relationship in “Beautiful Illusion” so if you’re sensitive to either of those things, maybe don’t read it.   “Beautiful Illusion” tells the story of a girl called Lily who’s writing an article for a new build called Treasure Island in San Francisco Bay. Hi ForeverBookers,  It’s really hot where I am at the moment!  Anyway, I’ve just finished “The Heart Between Us” by Lindsay Harrel and it was good! It took me a little time (just over a week) to get through it, mainly because the book felt really segmented.  NetGalley granted my access to “The Heart Between Us” so it’s thanks to them that I was able to read and review it. 3.5 Stars (3 Stars on goodreads)!  It’s told in third person about a set of female twins, Megan and Crystal. Megan has been sick since childhood with a heart condition. The events of the novel take place when the girls are in their early thirties. Megan recently had a heart transplant, while Crystal has been becoming an architect. Megan lives in Minnesota while Crystal lives in New York at the beginning of The Heart Between Us. Hey ForeverBookers,  I’ve just finished a great contemporary novel called “One Summer In Italy” by Sue Moorcroft. It releases 17th May 2018. 4.5 Stars! “One Summer In Italy” is a contemporary story that revolves around our main character, Sofia who’s lost her father in the prologue of the book. The main story takes place a year later when Sofia is in Montelibertà, a small town in Italy to find her father’s brother. Sofia has a job in an Italian hotel, where she stays for the majority of the novel, as a waitress. She has friends who she sticks up for throughout the story, as well as one of the sweetest romances I’ve read. What Sofia has to work out in the novel is what’s the best choice for her in a lot of things.  I originally requested “One Summer In Italy” because I have a fascination with Italy, and although I haven’t been (yet), this novel certainly didn’t put me off wanting to go. Hey ForeverBookers,  Sorry that I’ve been away for so long! I’ve been busy. Anyway, I’ve just finished “Playing For Keeps” by Rosa Temple and I didn’t love it, really. It went by slowly for me personally, but we’re all different.  Playing For Keeps was released on 12th February 2018, so is available now!  2 Stars! “Playing For Keeps” is a contemporary story that tells the story of Magenta, a young woman who owns a clothing/handbag company. She has a best friend, Anya an eccentric Russian model, and a boyfriend, Anthony. Magenta and Anthony start realising there are problems in their relationship at the start of the novel, however. Magenta’s ex, Hugo comes into the story, with issues. Who does Magenta choose to be with? Does she choose either of the men? You’ll have to read to find out...
