Hi ForeverBookers, I’ve just finished The Only Good Indians by Stephen Graham Jones, but I really didn’t enjoy it :(. It started off promising but then it completely lost me. I’ll probably forget the story very quickly. I certainly didn’t find it thrilling, or scary as Stephen King claims it to be on the cover.  1 Star! The Only Good Indians is split into 3 parts. I honestly thought that the second part wasn’t needed. All it did for me, was introduce Denorah, the protagonist of the third part. So I won’t note anything from that section below, because I didn’t think it was necessary. In part 1, we follow Lewis, a man who’s just moved into a new house with his wife. There he finds a dead elk. What is up with this elk? Then in the third part we see just what or who the elk really is…I won’t spoil it here. (It’ll be in the spoiler section below). Hey Foreverbookers, How are you all? I hope you’re well.  I’ve just finished my third book of the month and Spookopoly,  “Icebreaker”  by Hannah Grace and I BLOODY LOVED IT!!!!!  “Icebreaker”  is a contemporary novel that tells the story of Anastasia Allen and Nate Hawkins and their love story. The story is very spicy and filled with humour. Our main characters experience new things and growing up with dramas but the story was very fun and lovely. Normally, I don’t love contemporary. I read and enjoy it but I don’t fall head over heels in love with it. This book, though, THIS BOOK is amazing and will be on my top books of the year, no question.  The story really starts at around 50 pages in, where the characters of the hockey and skating teams have to go to an icebreaker, the title of the book, to get to know each other.   Hey ForeverBookers, I’ve just finished   “In The Shadow Of The Wolf Queen,”  which I surprisingly really enjoyed. It’s a middle grade quest adventure filled with whimsy and adventure. I got through it in 2 days, so I was certainly captivated. The chapters are really short, which I’m sure helped too! We follow Ysolda, a young girl who loses her sister to the Wolf Queen after her home is destroyed by the Wolf Queen’s magic. The story is basically at first, a quest to retrieve her sister and destroy the Wolf Queen. Does this happen?   Hi ForeverBookers,   How are you all today? I hope you’re well! I’ve just finished The Final Empire by Brandon Sanderson and I’m VERY, VERY surprised to say that I LOVED it!  5 Stars! We follow a young girl called Vin. At first she’s just a normal person or a skaa in this world. But then she finds out that she’s a Mistborn, someone who’s worth a lot more than a regular skaa/working person. She gets recruited by a gang of criminals in this world, lead by Kelsier, the main male character of this book, I’d say. They want her to help them overthrow the Final Empire and defeat the Lord Ruler. Can they do this? You’ll need to read to find out!  I read The Final Empire for a few readathons.
