BaleFire Series by Cate Tiernan (Spoiler Free review).

Hi ForeverBookers, 

It's taken me forever to read this bindup of books I know. I was ill in between reading it as well - but I really didn't love this series to be honest. 

At the start of the blurb it reads "Mystery, romance and magick collide when long-lost twins are reunited". The main reason for me picking up this book was the romance...but there wasn't much. This is meant to be Cate Tiernan's older teen read I believe and I've read more romance in some of other series for younger readers. 

The first book was okay - 2/5 stars.
The second book didn't really add anything to the story - 1/5 stars.
The third book was better - 3/5 stars. 
The fourth book was the same - 3/5 stars.

If you like reading about witches because you like magic and action then this is for you but if you like reading about witches for the magic and romance (like me) it didn't really give me that vibe unfortunately.

I'll be picking my next TBR series/book soon so watch out for that post...

Strange The Dreamer (Strange The Dreamer #1) by Laini Taylor Review

  Hi ForeverBookers,   How are you all? I hope you’re well! Are you all excited for Christmas? I know I am!  I’ve just finished  “Strange The Dreamer”  by Laini Taylor and I really enjoyed it! I’ve been ill, so that’s why it’s taken me longer to read. No shade on the book, whatsoever!  “Strange The Dreamer”  tells the story of firstly Lazlo Strange, a wonderer who works as a junior librarian in the Kingdom of Zosma. He thinks he’s just a normal, 20 year old human at the beginning of the novel. He learns through Weep, the fabled city that he’s a lot more! What other properties/abilities does he have? I’ll let you read for yourself, but some were shocking to me! Lazlo also falls in love with a blue angel like figure called Sarai. I’d say that she was the secondary character but that Lazlo is certainly the main character we follow throughout, which makes sense as the novel is called Strange the Dreamer, and Lazlo’s surname is Strange.  I read Strange...

Her Majesty’s Royal Coven (HMRC #1) by Juno Dawson Review

Hey ForeverBookers, How are you all? Hope you’re good! I’ve just finished  “Her Majesty’s Royal Coven”  by Juno Dawson and I surprisingly really enjoyed it! I didn’t think I’d hate it but I thought it would be 3 stars, but it turns out it’s a 4 star read for me, maybe even a 4.5! It had a lot of things I like but some parts were forgettable, like the names of the lesser used characters. The plot, though was solid! I’m a character over plot person, as you’d know through reading my other reviews, but the main/most prominent character from this book, Niamh will be my favourite, I’m sure!
