The Polar Bear Explorers’ Club (The Explorers' Club #1) by Alex Bell

Hey ForeverBookers,  I’ve finished yet another book! I know, look at me go… anyway, the book was “The Polar Bear Explorers’ Club” by Alex Bell. It’s a middle grade so I wasn’t sure if I’d like it but I’m happy to report that I really enjoyed it. It was very funny and entertaining, something that I needed after reading some of the books I’ve read this year. 5 Stars! “The Polar Bear Explorers’ Club” details Stella Snowflake Pearl’s adventure on her first Polar Bear Explorer’s Club mission, if you like. On these missions, the Explorers need to make discoveries and undergo trials to become Polar Bear Explorers. At least that’s what the junior Explorers accomplish. I’m not sure what the adults get out of it as the story focuses on four of the junior explorers. The main setting for “The Polar Bear Explorers’ Club” is the Icelands, a diabolical and sometimes dangerous landscape. On her first polar adventure Stella tries to live up to the boys she’s put with. Learn My Lesson (Wicked Villains #2) Review

Hi ForeverBookers,   I’ve finished another book in August! I really am on a reading whirlwind this month!  “Learn My Lesson” by Katie Robert was fantastic. I loved everything from the character dynamics to the love scenes and more… “Learn My Lesson”  is written in a multi POV style, where we get all three of our protagonists, Meg, Hades and Hercules perspectives. This was good because we could see just how much they wanted the best for each other as well as their other, perhaps deeper desires.  4 Stars! We start off the story with Meg who is going out one evening to escape Carver City and her beau, Hades for a while. While out, she comes across a young man called Hercules. Hercules and Meg have s*x and Hades finds out. Of course, there are other storylines too, as well as the love and s*x but they’re the dominant ones. Hades is the head of Carver City. What happens when that is threatened by his new lover’s/slave’s father? You can read for yourself!  Spoi...

Heartless (Chestnut Springs #2) by Elsie Silver Review

Hey ForeverBookers,   I’m back! I’ve finished another book!  “ Heartless”   by Elsie Silver was AMAZING!!!! I absolutely LOVED it!!! This is book 2 in the “Chestnut Springs” series and it’s about Cade, Rhett’s brother from “Flawless,” #1, and his romance with Willa, Summer’s, from book 1’s best friend.  I read Heartless for a few readathons  Reading Rivalry - Multiple POV - “ Heartless” is told from both Willa and Cade’s perspectives. Always Fully Booked Reading Challenge - Book set in Canada - I   believe Chestnut Springs is set in the Rockies.   Always Fully Booked “On the Cover” Reading Challenge - A Musical Instrument - A guitar ! Willa, our FMC plays guitar.  Reading the Rainbow challenge - pastel - the background of the  “ Heartless”   cover is pastel blue!  “ Heartless”   had EVERYTHING I love, an FMC who’s stuck in life, a wild, yet sensitive MMC, funny moments, cute scenes, spicy scenes, heartfelt ...
