Hey ForeverBookers, How are you? I’ve just gotten back home from a the BLUE, 25th Anniversary Concert so I’m great! (This review won’t be as on point as some of my others because I’ve had a day in between finishing the book and writing this review, so not all of my thoughts are as crisp as they normally are). Yesterday, I finished The Man Who Died Twice, The Thursday Murder Club #2 by Richard Osman, which I really enjoyed.  4 Stars! “The Man Who Died Twice”  follows are same amateur detective sleuths as they try to work out who some diamonds they find belong to. I loved reading this! It had comedy as well as a good plot that kept me very much entertained. I’d say it was more intriguing than the first book, which was just setting up our characters!  I read The Man Who Died Twice for a few readathons.   Swallows and Amazons review! Hey ForeverBookers,  How are you doing today? I hope you’re well! I’ve just finished reading Swallows and Amazons by Arthur Ransome and I enjoyed it. It was slower than most books I read but I can remember watching the 1974 movie and enjoying that a lot as a child so I thought I’d give the book a go.  Swallows and Amazons is a classic British novel that tells the story of a family of four children that go to an island that they can see from their farmhouse home on the Peak of Darien. They really want to go and camp on the island, so they do. They discover things about themselves, like the youngest, Roger being able to swim and Titty, the third youngest being a good lookout, as well as things about the island too.   Hey ForeverBookers,   How are you all today? I hope you’re good! I’ve just finished  “Crave Me ,” which was a reread but from 2016! I loved it even more than I did then, though!  In  “Crave Me ,” we follow Belle, Clara’s best friend from the first trilogy of the Royals series. Belle is a quiet character, I feel. That is until she meets our MMC, Smith Price! Belle goes for a job interview to be lawyer, Smith’s assistant. What starts as a simple interview quickly evolves into a love story for the ages!  I read  “Crave Me”  and for a few readathons. Hey ForeverBookers,  I’ve just finished reading Lore Olympus vol 2 and I loved it.  4 stars! We’re still following Persephone as she tries to navigate the underworld. Apollo is a tool towards her. She only really has Hades, the Lord of the Underworld on her side. As they try to make their lives better will they get pulled apart?  I absolutely LOVE the use of colour in this graphic novel, from the bright pinks to the dull burgeoning blues and blacks, it’s stunning to look at and read. My favourite parts are of course the romantic parts between Persephone and Hades, although we saw more from other characters of the underworld in volume 2 as well.  I’m excited to continue my journey with this series soon! 

  Hi ForeverBookers,   How are you all today? I hope you’re good! I’ve just finished reading Pages & Co - Tilly And The Bookwanderers by Anna James and I LOVED it!!! It really was “Delightful! A Joy of a book” as Kiran Millwood Hargrave quotes on the front cover.  We follow Tilly, a curious 10 year old girl, as she finds out about her origins and her life through the world of books. She lives with her grandparents and has a best friend, Oskar who are all present in quite a lot of the story. Oskar has dyslexia too. It was nice to see disability representation. I liked how “Tilly And The Bookwanderers”was set in England too, as it’s where I’m from. I guess it felt homely in a way.  I read Tilly And The Bookwanderers for a few readathons.   Hey ForeverBookers,   How are you all today? I hope you’re good!  I’ve just finished reading  “In The Weeds”  by B.K. Borrison and I really enjoyed it. I read the first in the Lovelight Farms series, “Lovelight Farms” last year, and I liked it. I definitely preferred  “In The Weeds,” though. We start with Beckett, the MMC of the story who’s working at Lovelight Farm as he was in  “Lovelight Farms.”  In the first chapter, it’s a little bit of a flashback to when he and Evelyn, the FMC, slept together during the time frame of book 1, the prequel of  “In The Weeds.”  The MMC and FMC are different in each book in this series.
