  Hi ForeverBookers, How are you doing today? I hope you’re well!  I’ve just finished reading “Ninth House” by Leigh Bardugo, which I enjoyed. I’d read Leigh Bardugo’s “Shadow and Bone” books and “Six Of Crows” previously, and I didn’t like them but “Ninth House” is her first foray into adult literature. I preferred reading where she wasn’t held back by rules to fit into a certain demographic.  3.5 Stars “Ninth House” tells the story of Alex or Galaxy Stern. She’s a lost character at the beginning of the book. Only when she finds a task or someone to fight for does she become a worthy character in my eyes. She attends Yale, in America. There she experiences a tragic event, of which she’s the sole survivor. Why is SHE the sole survivor and what does this mean for her? I’ll let you read for yourself but the novel basically hinges on this point. Alex is tasked with looking into the activities of Yale’s secret societies. Why? And what does this mean for the story?...

Hey ForeverBookers, How are you all today? I hope you’re well.  I’ve just finished reading Skellig, which was a book I read in year 7 in school. I don’t think I enjoyed it then but I did more so now.  Skellig tells the story of a young boy, Michael who’s just moved to a new house because his parents have just had another baby. His little sister is ill, and needs hospital treatment though. The house they’ve bought to move into needs remodelling as an old man lived there before, and couldn’t keep up with it. Michael and his dad are the ones that work on the reparations. When Michael happens across a deserted space he makes a discovery, which alters how he sees life. He and his friend, Mina, who doesn’t go to school because her mother thinks she’s too good for it try to make sense of this discovery.   Hey ForeverBookers,   How are you all? I hope you’re well!  I’ve just finished reading “House Of Flame and Shadow” by Sarah J Maas in anticipation for “A Court of Splintered Harmony,” coming out in October, and I really enjoyed it! I got through it in under a week, which judging by its size is a shock for me! It normally takes me ages to get through a book of that size! I think because I was reading the book and the ebook on my phone it made it easier to fly through.  4.5 Stars! The main plot of “House Of Flame and Shadow” is Bryce, Hunt and their team trying to find, hunt and kill the Asteri, an angel race. To do this she has help from characters from the ACOTAR series (Nesta and Azriel) in obtaining the mask Nesta used in ACOSF to defeat the bad guys. This mask is significant to the defeat of the Asteri too. How?   Hey ForeverBookers, I’ve just finished  “The Memory Of Babel”  by Christelle Dabos, and I’m surprised to say that I really enjoyed it. I’d heard that this was the most romance forward of the four  “Mirror Visitor” books, and while I’m not sure that’s necessarily the case I really enjoyed the pacing of this book. It didn’t feel as if we were stuck on a part of the story for too long anywhere.   “The Memory Of Babel”  is set around two and a half years after the conclusion of  “The Missing of Clairdelune.”  Our protagonist, Ophelia lost her betrothed, Thorn due to her powers as an Anima not being strong enough. Can she find him and in so doing help bring the Other, the formidable, unknowable enemy to the surface? I’ll let you read for yourself but I enjoyed this 3rd book a LOT more than #2, which seemed to just plod along slowly. With   “The Memory Of Babel”  I was always eager to turn the next page!  “The Memory Of Babel”...
