A Photo Finish (Gold Rush Ranch #2) by Elsie Silver Review

Hi ForeverBookers, How are you doing in this hot weather? I hope you’re doing well!  I’ve just finished reading “A Photo Finish,” which I really enjoyed. It had a little bit of a slower start than “Off To The Races,” #1 Gold Rush Ranch which I was worried about when I started but at about the half way point it gathered pace and was really good from then on.  “A Photo Finish” tells the story of Violet, the little sister of Rhett and Cade that have their books in the next Elsie Silver series, “Flawless” and “Heartless” books 1 and 2 in the “Chestnut Springs series.” I loved reading about Violet. She’s a horse woman as most of the main characters be they male or female, in Elsie Silver’s books are. She’s very much just into her own life. Her horses are the most important things to her. Her main horse in “A Photo Finish” is called Pipsqueak, or Pippy as she’s affectionately known. That is until a certain man called Cole Eaton enters her life… I read “A Photo Fin...

Mile High (Windy City #1) by Liz Tomforde Review

Hey ForeverBookers, How are you all today? I hope you’re good! I’ve just finished reading “Mile High” by Liz Tomforde, which I bloody well ADORED!!!!!! It’s the best contemporary/sports romance I’ve read since finishing “Binding 13” in February! It really was truly amazing! “Mile High” is book 1 in the “Windy City” series. It’s set primarily in Chicago, the Windy City but also in other states across America too.  “Mile High” follows a flight attendant called Stevie and a well off hockey player called Zanders. Stevie is a flight attendant for sports teams. She’s worked for football players before but never a hockey team. She sees more of Zanders than she plans on, when he literally strips in front of her, something which she’s not used to! He’s not discreet about his nudity. He’s used to baring all in front of his team mates on the plane. Stevie falls hard for Zanders as soon as she sees him, even with his clothes on, I believe. The rest of the book details their adventure...

Training the Heart (Silver Pines Ranch #2) by Paisley Hope Review

Hey ForeverBookers, How are you all today! I hope you’re good! I’ve just finished reading “Training the Heart” by Paisley Hope and I bloody LOVED it!!! 5 Stars! “Training the Heart” follows Wade Ashby, a character we see a little of in the first book in the “Silver Pines Ranch” series, “Riding the High.” He’s the older brother of CeCe, the FMC of that book. Wade is a strict guy to begin with. I didn’t really like him in “Riding The High.” In “Training the Heart,” he has to hire a new horse trainer because the one he had hired had twins and wanted more time with them. Enter Ivy! Ivy is everything Wade is not, she’s a lighthearted girl, that wants to be free! Can she be free at Silver Pines or does her life drag her down? I’ll let you read for yourself, but I finished this in the space of about 72 hours! It was addictive!!!  I read “Training The Heart” for a few readathons. They were: RR - The Coach - Find A Book That Brings People Together - “Training The He...
