I’ve just found my review for “Clockwork Princess” by Cassandra Clare so if you’re interested go back and read that! Anyway, I’ve just finished my first infinity star read of the year in “Vows and Ruins” by Helen Scheuerer. I know it’s really early in the year but I say infinity stars because it was AMAZING! The book stars with our MFC, Thea having just worked out that she’s magical at the end of book 1, Blood and Steel. Wilder, our MMC and Thea’s lover, has left her. Why? I’ll let you read for yourself but it’s good! Anyway, he does come back to finish what he started and train her, as a Warsword should in this world, but at what cost? Again, I’ll let you read for yourself. They go on a quest to find out about Thea’s history as a magic wielder and her power, and let’s just say that there were some surprising moments that I wasn’t expecting!   Hi ForeverBookers,   I’ve just finished reading Peter Pan by JM Barrie, the book my last read, Hooked is based on and I really enjoyed it!  4 Stars!  Peter Pan is a classic, I’m surprised I enjoyed. It’s very short at around 200 pages. We start in London, with Wendy, John and Michael as well as their parents. Their mother and father have a bigger role in the book than the 1953, Disney movie. I read Peter Pan for a few readathons. They were: RR - Read a classic - Peter Pan is the best classic I’ve read so far! Hey ForeverBookers,  HAPPY NEW YEAR! I found my in-depth review for Clockwork Princess, so here it is a little late, sorry! I’ve just finished my reread of Clockwork Princess by Cassandra Clare and I’m very surprised to say that I LOVED it this time. I think the main reason I didn’t love it when I was a teenager was because I wanted to read spice then, and because I wasn’t an adult I couldn’t find any. Now, as an adult, I feel I can appreciate YA for what it is more.  5 Stars! The plot takes us from 1847 York to Idris, the fated city in the world of the Shadowhunters. We start the plot with a battle where the Lightwoods father is trapped by a demon. The shadowhunters have to go to try to save him. Can they? This is only the beginning of the events of Clockwork Princess! I enjoyed this story a lot more than the other books.
