The Broken Lake NO SPOILER Review.

Hi ForeverBookers, 

The Broken Lake is the second book in The Pace series by Shelena Shorts. It follows a young adult girl who falls in love with a guy who's almost immortal. 

The Pace (book 1) ended on a cliffhanger so we see how that has affected the two main characters at the beginning of the book. The story just really continues on with the mystery and it is a really great book and series if you like romance. If you don't like romance the I really wouldn't start reading this as it's very romance heavy. 

The end of the book is okay as it leads to the third book in the series, so yes...another cliffhanger! 

I gave this book 4 out of 5 stars because it wasn't as good as the first but certainly wasn't terrible either. 

The thing that I didn't like so much were that more of the story was based on the friendships with side characters than the actual romance. That's why it didn't quite get 5 stars from me. However, I did love a certain scene toward the end of the book <3. 

Next I'm reading book #3 - The Iron Quill

Rebound (The Pentagon Book 1) by Rosemary Rey Review

Hey ForeverBookers,  How are you all doing today? I hope you’re well!  I’ve just finished rereading Rebound by Rosemary Rey and I loved it! From recollection I loved it the first time I read it as well, about 5 years ago.  5 Stars!   Hey ForeverBookers,   I’m back! I’ve finished another book!  “ Heartless”   by Elsie Silver was AMAZING!!!! I absolutely LOVED it!!!
