Ruin And Rising by Leigh Bardugo review

Another EPIC read! This is the last book in the series so it wraps everything up. There was more romance in this book, which I loved.

The characters just got better and better throughout. And yay, The couple I wanted together did end up together :). I just thought Mal was really quite a boring character in Shadow And Bone (#1) but in Siege and Storm (#2) and this book he did get a role to play, especially in this last book. The Darkling didn't have a big role in this book which kind of surprised me, although it was nice to see the other characters have fun times and not always concerned with what was happening with the Darkling. It gave room for more character development.
The settings were always well described. I really felt like I was experiencing where the characters were.

I just really couldn't stop reading this series...it's highly addictive. Therefore I give this book 5 stars like all of the other ones. If you want to read a YA trilogy that will capture your heart, mind and soul then this is the YA trilogy for you.

The Forest Of Adventures (The Knight Trilogy #1) by Katie M John

Hi ForeverBookers,  I have a new book to add to my list of favourites! The Forest Of Adventures is a great book if you love romance, adventure and history/fantasy as it has all of those elements.  This book is mature in some aspects so I'd say only age 16+ readers should read it. It doesn't get graphic but sex is still brought up.  We see from Mina's perspective throughout so the main girl in this story, who's seventeen years old. She's at college when she sits next to a boy, Blake Beldevier. He's a very charmingly mysterious guy. Mina is already in a relationship with Sam. A guy she's known from years before this book starts but she's attracted to Blake. When Sam sees Mina walking with Blake one afternoon at college, he gets angry and has a car crash. The rest of the book centres around this accident and Mina's relationship with Blake as well as other characters, her mother for instance who has always wanted Mina to marry Sam when she...

A Court Of Silver Flames (ACOTAR #5) by Sarah J Maas Review

Hi ForeverBookers,  How have you all been since the beginning of 2024? I haven’t checked in much, I know, but I’ve still been reading! Last night, I finished “A Court of Silver Flames” (“ACOSF”),  by Sarah J Maas, which I ABSOLUTELY ADORED! It was so, so, so, so, SOOOOO good!!!  It tells the story of Nesta, rather than Feyre, the character which the other “ACOTAR” books have all focused on. I honestly didn’t think I would like it much because I’m a total Feyre and the man she ends up with fangirl and I REALLY didn’t like Nesta in the other books or what there was of her, anyway, but OMG was I WRONG! Never judge a book, until you’ve read it, is all I’ll say… “ACOSF” is told from 3rd person POV which I thought I’d hate, because I like being inside the main female character’s head and seeing and feeling exactly what she is. Nesta, while told from 3rd person POV though, has a huge breakthrough with the reader, I believe. She was a very hateful character in the first b...

Leave The Night On (CottonBloom #4) by Laura Trentham Review

Hi ForeverBookers,  How are you all today?  I've just finished "Leave The Night On", another great contemporary book! It's still summer, right? ☀️.  4.5 Stars! I think people would like this if they like ADULT small town romances, fun/caring characters with substance, and a decent plot. NOTE: Leave The Night On is an adult read due to sexual content and lying/scheming. Leave The Night On  is book 4 in the Cottonbloom series. I didn't know this before I looked on Goodreads, after I had requested it on NetGalley. It luckily works as a stand alone, though. Netgalley should really tell those requesting books where the book comes in the series, though, I think, or if the book is a standalone. That might be something that NetGalley can improve on in the future? Thanks to Netgalley for this e-arc.    Leave The Night On  starts with Wyatt, our lead male character who works in a garage with his brothers. Wyatt is a twin. Jackson is his ...
