Siege and Storm by Leigh Bardugo review

Awesome book yet again! The story was definitely addictive again. The struggles for Alina continue as she tries to defeat the Darkling.

There is a bigger cast of characters in this book. Mal has a bigger role to play in this book. It was nice to see him try to protect Alina. 

I wouldn't say this series is for younger teens as it's quite brutal and realistic in the way that it's written. I've now also decided that the Darkling IS evil and there's no redemption. I now want to see Alina and Mal together or perhaps even Alina and Nikolai. 

There were a few laugh out loud moments in this book from Nikolai and his friendship with Alina. 

I give this book 5 stars again because of the superb story telling. I can't wait to start reading the concluding book.

Kiss Of The Basilisk (#1 Split and Swallow) by Lindsay Straube Review

  Hey ForeverBookers,   I’ve just finished my favourite book of the year, thus far.  “Kiss Of The Basilisk”  by Lindsay Straube   is an   erotic masterpiece in my eyes! It brings together everything I love in a book…forbidden romance, well written erotic scenes, it was lengthy and the characters had depth. The only thing that slightly annoyed me was the FMC’s name, Tem. I liked her full name Temperance a lot more. “Kiss Of The Basilisk”  starts with our main character, Tem following a tradition of sorts. She’s to go to be trained to have sex with the prince by a basilisk. She only goes and falls in love with the basilisk she chooses! He loves her too. What does this mean for her relationship with the prince? You’ll have to read for yourself! There were soooooo many twists and turns in  “Kiss Of The Basilisk”  that I didn’t see coming so wasn’t sure where we would end up with our characters!  I kind of wished there was a pregnancy for Tem...

Her Majesty’s Royal Coven (HMRC #1) by Juno Dawson Review

Hey ForeverBookers, How are you all? Hope you’re good! I’ve just finished  “Her Majesty’s Royal Coven”  by Juno Dawson and I surprisingly really enjoyed it! I didn’t think I’d hate it but I thought it would be 3 stars, but it turns out it’s a 4 star read for me, maybe even a 4.5! It had a lot of things I like but some parts were forgettable, like the names of the lesser used characters. The plot, though was solid! I’m a character over plot person, as you’d know through reading my other reviews, but the main/most prominent character from this book, Niamh will be my favourite, I’m sure! I think that’s why I’ve rated  “Her Majesty’s Royal Coven”  so highly! 4 Stars! “Her Majesty’s Royal Coven”  tells the story of a coven of witches that need to save or at least help a young male witch who’s more than he seems.
