Hi ForeverBookers,  I’ve just finished reading “I See London, I See France,” which I really enjoyed. It’s a fun, backpacking novel through Europe with our protagonists, Sydney and Leela and the adventures they have.  3 Stars I read “I See London, I See France,” for a couple readathons. They were: Reading Rivalry - A library book - I got my copy of “I See London, I See France” from the library.  Always Fully Booked Reading Challenge - A Country or City in the title - I See London, I See France” has both a country and a city in the title so it doubly works!  Sydney is a 19 year old American girl is the main protagonist of “I See London, I See France,” who’s mom suffers with extreme anxiety.   Hey ForeverBookers,   How are you all today? I hope you’re good!  I’ve just finished reading “Birthday Girl” by Penelope Douglas and I LOVED it! If you know my tastes in books, you’ll know that I love a good forbidden, explicit romance and that’s exactly what this was. The explicitness wasn’t that major but towards the end there were a few more sex scenes than I was expecting! I welcomed them, though!  “Birthday Girl” is told from both our FMC, Jordan and our MMC, Pike’s POVs. I liked seeing the action from both points of view as it made the story feel more realistic to me.  “Birthday Girl” starts with Jordan going to the movies for her 17th birthday on her own because her waste of space boyfriend, Cole can’t be bothered to go with her. When she’s there she talks to sits also the same row as another man. This man, Pike, only turns out to be Cole’s father!   Hi ForeverBookers, How are you doing today? I hope you’re well!  I’ve just finished reading “Ninth House” by Leigh Bardugo, which I enjoyed. I’d read Leigh Bardugo’s “Shadow and Bone” books and “Six Of Crows” previously, and I didn’t like them but “Ninth House” is her first foray into adult literature. I preferred reading where she wasn’t held back by rules to fit into a certain demographic.  3.5 Stars “Ninth House” tells the story of Alex or Galaxy Stern. She’s a lost character at the beginning of the book. Only when she finds a task or someone to fight for does she become a worthy character in my eyes. She attends Yale, in America. There she experiences a tragic event, of which she’s the sole survivor. Why is SHE the sole survivor and what does this mean for her? I’ll let you read for yourself but the novel basically hinges on this point. Alex is tasked with looking into the activities of Yale’s secret societies. Why? And what does this mean for the story?...

Hey ForeverBookers, How are you all today? I hope you’re well.  I’ve just finished reading Skellig, which was a book I read in year 7 in school. I don’t think I enjoyed it then but I did more so now.  Skellig tells the story of a young boy, Michael who’s just moved to a new house because his parents have just had another baby. His little sister is ill, and needs hospital treatment though. The house they’ve bought to move into needs remodelling as an old man lived there before, and couldn’t keep up with it. Michael and his dad are the ones that work on the reparations. When Michael happens across a deserted space he makes a discovery, which alters how he sees life. He and his friend, Mina, who doesn’t go to school because her mother thinks she’s too good for it try to make sense of this discovery.
