Which book would your Animal Crossing character enjoy?

Hey guys,

Last night I came across this video by my favourite booktuber, https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=vume221h1uU, and I thought what a great idea, especially for this group! Total credit to Jade, or the original creator.

What book would your Animal Crossing islanders choose to read? I don’t necessarily like, or recommend all of the books below but I think my islanders on Animal Crossing would fit the reader mould for them. I only have 6 villagers so far, instead of the 9! When I get more, I’ll add them to the list. I’ve ordered my islanders by preference as well as noted the order they came to me. I think I have that right!

• Sandy, my 3rd islander -  A Discovery Of Witches by Deborah Harkness - Sandy loves books and so does Diana, the main character of ADOW. Sandy is very sweet so I think the romance would suck her in. She also comes across as quite studious, as she has a bookcase in her house, so I feel a long book like ADOW would work.

• Peggy, my 5th islander - The Problem With Forever by Jennifer L Armentrout - Peggy is peppy and there’s high school drama in this book, but it’s also got a serious/caring side that I think would suit her well. To me, she’s a caring/peppy personality type.

• Biff, one of my starter islanders - One Piece manga by Eichiiro Oda - Biff is a jock, who I don’t think would dedicate much time to reading 😂 so I think a manga would be perfect. Also One Piece is a more masculine, great adventure that I feel he’d enjoy!

• Katt, my other starter - This one took me the longest to think of but I think The Hate U Give by Angie Thomas or The Sun Is Also A Star by Nicola Yoon would be good options - I think Katt wants to change the world. She’s a sisterly so she cares for others opinions’.

• Henry, my 6th islander - he’s very sophisticated so I think a classic, like Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte would suit him well.

• Pudge, my 4th islander - Harry Potter And The Philosopher’s Stone by JK Rowling - I feel he’s young in mind so Harry Potter is perfect, as it’s middle grade, the first 4 books, I’d say are, anyway. (Pudge reminds me of Ron/Dudley)!

What about YOUR villagers??? What book do you think would suit them? If you have the same villagers as me but different ideas, that’s fine too! ☺️. I think differently than Jade about what Katt would like, for example.

American Royals (#1 American Royals) by Katharine McGee review

Hey ForeverBookers,   I’ve just finished American Royals by Katherine McGee and I LOVED it! If you love scandal and complicated love stories in a contemporary setting, then you will love it as well! Think a royal version of Gossip Girl and you have this book in a nutshell. American Royals follows six characters, all of the new adult age range that come together to create a story of intrigue and romance. There isn’t high action or really a plot outside of the romance which was fine with me as I really enjoy stories just focused on the romance. I appreciated how “American Royals” only focused on the six different characters. There weren’t loads of personalities to get to know, and they all followed the same pattern as they’re all from or have grown up around a certain standing in society. This made the characters easy to follow and understand. It is a character led story, without as I said, much plot.  What there is of a plot of American Royals is taken up with the ascension of ...

The Hollow (The Hollow Trilogy Book 1) by Jessica Verday Review.

Hi ForeverBookers, sorry it's taken me so long to write another review. This book has taken me longer than I thought to get through.  This was a reread for me. I read it when I was 16/17 years old and it's certainly more for that age than a girl in her 20's. There were bits I liked about this book but I didn't love it. I just found the main character very whiney and self destructive to her own happiness to be honest.  When I was 16/17 years old I can remember almost swooning for the lead male character but not so much now.  The lead girl goes through a traumatic event before the start of the book and the rest basically revolves around that.  The characters were good as well. I liked how only a small cast of characters were involved as it gave the book more of a focus on the Legend Of Sleepy Hollow. However some of the characters were very annoying although they were portrayed well.  . Another good point was the settings. I could really imagine myself in some of ...

City Of Ashes (The Mortal Instruments Book 2) by Cassandra Clare Review

Hi ForeverBookers,  I've just finished reading City Of Ashes and it was really good! I've read this book before again and I didn't think it was very good last time but now I think differently. It had everything from fighting demons, to laugh out loud parts, to heartfelt moments. The story starts from where City Of Bones finished so there will be minor spoilers below.  The characters continue developing in this second book. For example, Clary's best friend, Simon really takes on a new role as a vampire, as well as the other characters maturing too. This was good to see as it gave the story different levels that we haven't seen before. I especially enjoyed reading about Simon's transformations. There's a new character called Maia, who is a werewolf. There's some antagonism between Simon and her as in this series vampires and werewolves don't get on.   We meet Alec and Isabelle's parents here. Maryse, their mother is a strong character, who is angry...
