Crave Me (Royals #4) by Geneva Lee Review

 Hey ForeverBookers,

How are you all today? I hope you’re good!

I’ve just finished “Crave Me,” which was a reread but from 2016! I loved it even more than I did then, though!

In “Crave Me,” we follow Belle, Clara’s best friend from the first trilogy of the Royals series. Belle is a quiet character, I feel. That is until she meets our MMC, Smith Price! Belle goes for a job interview to be lawyer, Smith’s assistant. What starts as a simple interview quickly evolves into a love story for the ages!

I read “Crave Me” and for a few readathons. They were:

Reading Rivalry - True Friend - although I haven’t noted this in my spoiler section below, I love the female friendship between Queen Clara and Belle. They can rely on each other.

Always Fully Booked Reading Challenge 2026 - a book with more than 26 chapters - there are 27 chapters in “Crave Me.”

On the cover challenge 2026 - A silhouette - there’s a silhouette of Smith the MMC of “Crave Me” on the cover.

Note: there’s a lot of sex in “Crave Me.” It’s loving but it’s still sex.

Spoilers below…

“I stepped into his office and stopped dead in my tracks. I’d googled Smith Price yesterday, but it has never occurred to me to look up pictures of him. Considering the long list of accomplishments and the calibre of clients associated with his firm, I’d expected someone older. Much older. But the man sitting at the desk in front of me, looking like gods gift to three piece suits, couldn’t have been more than thirty.”

We experience events of “Crave Me” from both Belle and Smith’s perspectives. Here, Belle is just meeting Smith for the first time. She’s flawed by his appearance. I could tell from chapter 1, only a few pages in that she’d be his. I love these types of books with a dominant male.

“I saw another man touching you,” he roared. “He had his hands all over you in this pathetic strip you call a dress.”

I groaned, partially because he had gotten the wrong impression and partially because his lips were on my collarbone. “Edward? He’s as gay as a maypole.”

“He was touching what is mine!” Smith exploded, slamming my body against the wall with the weight of his. There was no insinuation—no subtlety—to the act. He grounded lewedly against my belly, digging his cock into the soft flesh.

“Yours?” I repeated breathlessly. “I don’t belong to anyone.”

         “That’s where you’re wrong, beautiful.”

As Belle gets to know Smith she sees his raw, dominant and carnal side in the bedroom, as well as his need to protect her. I also love these types of heroes. The ones who just won’t leave their woman to fend for herself. I believe this is exactly what Smith is, even if he sometimes does get it wrong, like above.

These books are some of my favourites for passionate scenes.

“I knew what I wanted. His body. His soul.

      Him.

Every part of me craved more. He consumed me, but what happened on the other side of this affair? If I walked away now, would it destroy me? How much worse would it be in a week or a month?  Or a year? I could only dream of holding onto him for that long.”

Belle knows what she wants but does Smith want the same? She isn’t sure.

Overall then, I ADORED this! I loved Clara and X’s trilogy before this one but I truly adored Belle and Smith. I loved how devoted they were to each other. You could clearly see it in both their parts that they only wanted each other.

I don’t yet know what I’ll pick up next.

Hey ForeverBookers,   I’m back! I’ve finished another book!  “ Heartless”   by Elsie Silver was AMAZING!!!! I absolutely LOVED it!!! Her Majesty’s Royal Coven (HMRC #1) by Juno Dawson Review

Hey ForeverBookers, How are you all? Hope you’re good! I’ve just finished  “Her Majesty’s Royal Coven”  by Juno Dawson and I surprisingly really enjoyed it! I didn’t think I’d hate it but I thought it would be 3 stars, but it turns out it’s a 4 star read for me, maybe even a 4.5! It had a lot of things I like but some parts were forgettable, like the names of the lesser used characters. The plot, though was solid! I’m a character over plot person, as you’d know through reading my other reviews, but the main/most prominent character from this book, Niamh will be my favourite, I’m sure! I think that’s why I’ve rated  “Her Majesty’s Royal Coven”  so highly! 4 Stars! “Her Majesty’s Royal Coven”  tells the story of a coven of witches that need to save or at least help a young male witch who’s more than he seems. Niamh, who I’d say is the main character of the current witches has a twin sister called Ciara who has had her power stripped before the book starts! Why, yo...

American Royals (#1 American Royals) by Katharine McGee review

Hey ForeverBookers,   I’ve just finished American Royals by Katherine McGee and I LOVED it! If you love scandal and complicated love stories in a contemporary setting, then you will love it as well! Think a royal version of Gossip Girl and you have this book in a nutshell. American Royals follows six characters, all of the new adult age range that come together to create a story of intrigue and romance. There isn’t high action or really a plot outside of the romance which was fine with me as I really enjoy stories just focused on the romance. I appreciated how “American Royals” only focused on the six different characters. There weren’t loads of personalities to get to know, and they all followed the same pattern as they’re all from or have grown up around a certain standing in society. This made the characters easy to follow and understand. It is a character led story, without as I said, much plot.  What there is of a plot of American Royals is taken up with the ascension of ...
