Lore Olympus vol 2 by Rachel Smythe Review

I’ve just finished reading Lore Olympus vol 2 and I loved it. 


4 stars!


We’re still following Persephone as she tries to navigate the underworld. Apollo is a tool towards her. She only really has Hades, the Lord of the Underworld on her side. As they try to make their lives better will they get pulled apart? 


I absolutely LOVE the use of colour in this graphic novel, from the bright pinks to the dull burgeoning blues and blacks, it’s stunning to look at and read. My favourite parts are of course the romantic parts between Persephone and Hades, although we saw more from other characters of the underworld in volume 2 as well. 


I’m excited to continue my journey with this series soon!

Hey ForeverBookers,   I’ve just finished American Royals by Katherine McGee and I LOVED it! If you love scandal and complicated love stories in a contemporary setting, then you will love it as well! Think a royal version of Gossip Girl and you have this book in a nutshell. American Royals follows six characters, all of the new adult age range that come together to create a story of intrigue and romance. There isn’t high action or really a plot outside of the romance which was fine with me as I really enjoy stories just focused on the romance. I appreciated how “American Royals” only focused on the six different characters. There weren’t loads of personalities to get to know, and they all followed the same pattern as they’re all from or have grown up around a certain standing in society. Rebound (The Pentagon Book 1) by Rosemary Rey Review

Hey ForeverBookers,  How are you all doing today? I hope you’re well!  I’ve just finished rereading Rebound by Rosemary Rey and I loved it! From recollection I loved it the first time I read it as well, about 5 years ago.  5 Stars! I read this for a few readathons: For Reading Rivalry - A book I think should be turned into a movie - I’d love to see this play out on television, actually but a movie is close enough.  For Litwits - A love story - that’s the central plot of Rebound and the whole Pentagon trilogy.  Literary Love Affair - Soulmate Love - Perla and Matt are what I class as realistic soulmates.
