Hey ForeverBookers,      I’ve just finished “Good Spirits” by B.K. Borrison and I really enjoyed it. I read it at the perfect time of year too, so I think that helped my overall enjoyment but I loved the story too.  “Good Sprits ” is a standalone novel, but there’s a book 2, “Grim Tidings” set to be released next year. I’m guessing it will have different main characters.       It was my birthday a couple of days ago too, so it was nice to be reading a good book around it.       “Good Spirits” tells the story of Harriet, a down on her luck girl who meets her ghost of Christmas past, Nolan. They don’t like each other at first but they learn to get along and work together to unlock secrets and the mystery of what’s keeping Nolan stuck in the past when he should have moved on a long time ago. Hey ForeverBookers,  How are you all? I hope you’re good! I’ve just finished “The Christmas Carrolls - The Christmas Competition,” the second book in the Christmas Carrolls series by Mel Taylor-Bessent and I really LOVED it. It’s a quick, fun, middle grade adventure that follows our lead character, Holly Carroll and her family and best friend from book 1, Archer as they try to make Christmas a fun time for everyone. In this second book in the series, the Carrols are pitted against the Klauses to try to win a Christmas time holiday to New York City to perform in a Christmas parade. It’s set in the UK, which was nice as that’s where I’m from. The rivalry between the two families takes the Carrolls’ characters to new extremes of Christmas loving, and they were very strong before! Also there is some animosity towards Christmas from our lead character, Holly as she wants to experience other festivities, such as Halloween, which her ever-loving Christmas parents want her to avoid ...

  Hey ForeverBookers,   How are you all? I hope you’re well.  I’ve just finished reading “The Christmas Lights” by Karen Swan and I enjoyed it. It’s a psychological mystery/romance novel. I’d say the mystery is the biggest element of the story, and the romance is very much on the back burner, however. 3 Stars! We start off following our lead characters, Bo and Zac who are wanderlusters. They literally travel around the world for likes on their Instagram feed. They’ve been doing this for a few years at the point where the novel starts. They have a photographer, Lenny, who follows them everywhere on their travels. At the beginning of the book they are in Samoa finishing up their time there. They normally spend a few months in each place they visit. The next chapter takes them to Norway, somewhere completely different to experience the snow. In Samoa before they leave, however, Zac proposes to Bo. She accepts, but is all as it seems?   Hi ForeverBookers,   How are you all? I hope you’re well! Are you all excited for Christmas? I know I am!  I’ve just finished  “Strange The Dreamer”  by Laini Taylor and I really enjoyed it! I’ve been ill, so that’s why it’s taken me longer to read. No shade on the book, whatsoever!  “Strange The Dreamer”  tells the story of firstly Lazlo Strange, a wonderer who works as a junior librarian in the Kingdom of Zosma. He thinks he’s just a normal, 20 year old human at the beginning of the novel. He learns through Weep, the fabled city that he’s a lot more! What other properties/abilities does he have? I’ll let you read for yourself, but some were shocking to me! Lazlo also falls in love with a blue angel like figure called Sarai. I’d say that she was the secondary character but that Lazlo is certainly the main character we follow throughout, which makes sense as the novel is called Strange the Dreamer, and Lazlo’s surname is Strange.  I read Strange...
