Hey ForeverBookers,   How are you all today? I hope you’re well! I’ve just finished “The Girl Who Stole An Elephant” by Nizrana Farook and I enjoyed it. It’s a middle-grade and I’d say towards the younger end of middle grade so I didn’t absolutely LOVE it but nonetheless it was fine! 3 Stars! “The Girl Who Stole An Elephant” is an adventure based novel. Our main character, Chaya starts the novel by stealing the Queen’s jewels as a vigilante character. She wants to help a boy pay for his medical expenses. What she doesn’t realise is all the trouble she’ll cause in trying to achieve this goal. She brings two friends with her. One isn’t a friend to begin with. The main setting is the Sri Lankan jungle. I read “The Girl Who Stole An Elephant” for a few readathons: Reading Rivalry - A book with a celebration - the King has his annual feast at the beginning of the book. Hi ForeverBookers,  How are you all today? I hope you’re well!  I’ve just finished Small Spaces by Katharine Arden and I ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT! It was much creepier than I expected, as it’s a middle-grade. I didn’t know how it could be creepy, to be honest. When I think of middle grade literature, I think of books for young children, and I don’t think this was for young children! That’s not to say that it can’t be read by a younger person but there are creepy and somewhat disturbing parts to the plot. I’m really glad I read this at Halloween! I wish I’d finished it on Halloween. Almost everything about the plot surprised me in a good way. I certainly wasn’t at all bored when reading it, I can tell you all that! 5 Stars!
