  Hey ForeverBookers,   How are you all today? I hope you’re good!  I’ve just finished reading  “In The Weeds”  by B.K. Borrison and I really enjoyed it. I read the first in the Lovelight Farms series, “Lovelight Farms” last year, and I liked it. I definitely preferred  “In The Weeds,” though. We start with Beckett, the MMC of the story who’s working at Lovelight Farm as he was in  “Lovelight Farms.”  In the first chapter, it’s a little bit of a flashback to when he and Evelyn, the FMC, slept together during the time frame of book 1, the prequel of  “In The Weeds.”  The MMC and FMC are different in each book in this series. Hi ForeverBookers,  I’ve just finished reading “House of Earth and Blood” (Crescent City #1) and I bloody ADORED it! It was soooooo good. I loved how it was adult but also fun and had many funny moments as well as tense moments.  4.5 Stars!  “House of Earth and Blood” tells the story of Bryce Quinlan, a twenty three year old, half fae girl. Her father is King of the Autumn court. And her brother on her father’s side, Ruhn is special or is he? I liked Ruhn but not as much as Hunt, who enters the plot near the beginning of the novel but not right away. Near the beginning, Bryce loses her best friend Danika. She dies in a horrible killing. This killer is revealed later, near the end of the book. Bryce gets put with Hunt, a fallen Archangel to determine who is the killer. Bryce works at Griffin Antiques, a gallery under the lead of Jesiba Roga. Bryce doesn’t like her boss. This was a funny relationship to read. I enjoyed how annoyed Bryce got with Jesiba. Hi ForeverBookers,  How are you all today? I hope you’re well.  Earlier on today I finished “Ship Of Destiny” by Robin Hobb. I surprisingly enjoyed it. I thought it would take me months to get through, like it did with “Ship of Magic” and “The Mad Ship,” books 1 and 2 in “The Liveship Traders” trilogy, but I’m very pleased to say that I highly enjoyed it, so much that it took me only around a week, and for a book just over 900 pages, I think that’s pretty good. 4.5 Stars! I read “Ship of Destiny” for a few readathons. They were: Reading Rivalry - You’ll Always Find Your Way Back Home - Althea certainly has a moment of “coming back home,” I’d say.  Always Fully Booked Reading Challenge 2026 - Read a book set on a boat - Almost all of the plot of Ship of Destiny is set at sea in one boat or another, so I’m counting it for this.   Hi ForeverBookers,   I’ve just finished “ Binti: Home,”  the second Binti novella by Nnedi Okorafor and I really enjoyed it!   3 Stars!  “Binti: Home” tells the story of Binti when she goes home from Oomza University, the planet that she travelled to in the first novella to study to become a Master Harmonizer, like her father. She takes her friend Okwu with her. He’s finally sexed here as a male, but is still referred to as it as well as he, him. While on earth, Binti learns of a secret organisation that her grandmother is a part of. Could she be a part of it too?
