Starcrossed by Josephine Angelini NO SPOILER review.

This book was good. It wasn't absolutely amazing but it's the first in a series. 

The main issue I had with it was that the chapters were really long. While I don't like short chapters, long ones can also be annoying if nothing is really happening in the story. I felt like the author was just trying to up the word count as the chapters could have been shorter. A few things could have been cut out of the middle of this book and it wouldn't have affected the plot at all. Having said that, the second half, towards the end of the book more things started happening. The plot grew more fast paced so I liked the end part of the book more.

The characters were likeable in this book. My favourite to read about were Helen and Lucas because I felt that they were the main characters. 

I therefore give this book 3 stars. I look forward to seeing what happens in the next book.

Strange The Dreamer (Strange The Dreamer #1) by Laini Taylor Review

  Hi ForeverBookers,   How are you all? I hope you’re well! Are you all excited for Christmas? I know I am!  I’ve just finished  “Strange The Dreamer”  by Laini Taylor and I really enjoyed it! I’ve been ill, so that’s why it’s taken me longer to read. No shade on the book, whatsoever!  “Strange The Dreamer”  tells the story of firstly Lazlo Strange, a wonderer who works as a junior librarian in the Kingdom of Zosma. He thinks he’s just a normal, 20 year old human at the beginning of the novel. He learns through Weep, the fabled city that he’s a lot more! What other properties/abilities does he have? I’ll let you read for yourself, but some were shocking to me! Lazlo also falls in love with a blue angel like figure called Sarai. Her Majesty’s Royal Coven (HMRC #1) by Juno Dawson Review

Hey ForeverBookers, How are you all? Hope you’re good! I’ve just finished  “Her Majesty’s Royal Coven”  by Juno Dawson and I surprisingly really enjoyed it! I didn’t think I’d hate it but I thought it would be 3 stars, but it turns out it’s a 4 star read for me, maybe even a 4.5! It had a lot of things I like but some parts were forgettable, like the names of the lesser used characters. The plot, though was solid! I’m a character over plot person, as you’d know through reading my other reviews, but the main/most prominent character from this book, Niamh will be my favourite, I’m sure!
