Ruin And Rising by Leigh Bardugo review

Another EPIC read! This is the last book in the series so it wraps everything up. There was more romance in this book, which I loved.

The characters just got better and better throughout. And yay, The couple I wanted together did end up together :). I just thought Mal was really quite a boring character in Shadow And Bone (#1) but in Siege and Storm (#2) and this book he did get a role to play, especially in this last book. The Darkling didn't have a big role in this book which kind of surprised me, although it was nice to see the other characters have fun times and not always concerned with what was happening with the Darkling. It gave room for more character development.
The settings were always well described. I really felt like I was experiencing where the characters were.

I just really couldn't stop reading this series...it's highly addictive. Therefore I give this book 5 stars like all of the other ones. If you want to read a YA trilogy that will capture your heart, mind and soul then this is the YA trilogy for you.

This Side Of Murder (Verity Kent #1) by Anna Lee Huber Review...

Hi ForeverBookers,

I've just finished This Side Of Murder by Anna Lee Hubert and it was great! This isn't my normal type of read but I still enjoyed it.

NetGalley allowed me access to This Side Of Murder so thanks to them for letting me read and review it.

This Side Of Murder tells the story of widower, Verity. She's going to a house party on an island near England. This story is really about Verity trying to figure out a code as she was a secret code breaker in the war. Verity lost her husband in the War, or so she thinks...
4 Stars
The book is set just after World War 1 so there are some customs that are different to now, smoking being seen as a good or relaxing thing, for example.
Verity meets another attendee of the party, Max on the way there. They strike up a friendship. The other attendees are rather hostile to Verity. The other women treat her terribly and the other men just seem to ignore her.
This is a mystery novel where we're trying to work out lots of things.…

The Fifth Letter by Nicola Moriarty Review.

Hi ForeverBookers, a belated Happy New Year to you all! I hope you all had a great Christmas as well. The Fifth Letter was my first read of 2017, and I enjoyed it. It wasn't all that I thought it would be but it still held my attention.

I got The Fifth Letter as a NetGalley arc so thank you to NetGalley for giving me the opportunity to read it.

The Fifth Letter is published on January 24th 2017 but it's is very much an ADULT read! It's is about 4 girls, Joni, Deb, Trina and Eden who were friends at school. They go away to a house for a get together trip in their 30's. The main part of the story is set while the girls are in their 30's. One of them has the idea for them each to write a secret - something they've never told anyone else before but it's kept confidential. Then each one of the girls will read a random secret, and try to work out who it belongs to.

It's  set in Australia, which is a little different as most books I read are set in the USA/th…

This Mortal Coil by Emily Suvada Review

Hi ForeverBookers,

I've just finished an awesome book! I got This Mortal Coil from NetGalley so thanks to them for letting me read it. It was soooo good!!
5 Stars!!!
This Mortal Coil is a dystopian story that tells the story of Catarina who, along with friends has to find out who she is among the strife of a deadly plague that's killing off the worlds population through hydra clouds.
The story is told from first person POV, which I loved! I thought the author did a great job at tackling different emotions that our main character, Catarina went through.
There are too many good parts to quote. I'm not going to do that as this review would be so long if I did but I've summarised what happens below...SPOILERS!!!
We see Catarina start as a shy girl with not much experience of the outside world become a warrior. Some may class this as a "special snowflake story", whereby Cat is the special one that everyone has been waiting for. She doesn't know this, tho…
